Reese's Rescues
Reese's Rescues has been working to save and find homes for pets since 2002. Founded by Dr. Reese, we have worked alongside Animal Care Hospital at Bold Springs to provide care for orphaned and abandoned animals. Our goal is to reach out to the "unwanted" animals in our community, so we only rescue from shelters. We work to place orphaned cats and dogs in homes they are suited for, hopefully for the duration of their lives.
All of the animals we adopt out are fully examined, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs), FIV/FeLV tested (cats), fecal tested, and spayed or neutered. Many of the pets that we take in have other medical issues that must be treated as well, and we often accept pets that are otherwise unlikely to make it out of the shelters.

We often have puppies, kittens and adult pets available for adoption at our office. We have adoption fees to help defray the cost of leukemia/aids testing, vaccination and spaying/neutering. The adoption fee for cats is $120, for dogs is $200. Adoption fees may be less for adult pets. The adoption fee covers spaying or neutering, and includes a 20% discount off services for six months after adoption.
Our Facebook page is the best way to watch out for new adoptable pets. A pre-adoption questionnaire includes information found on our pet adoption contract. Please contact us if you have any questions about the pets!
How can you help?
You can contribute to Reese's Rescues by sending monetary donations that help provide the medical treatment and care of adoptable pets. Donations can be easily sent via PayPal to [email protected] (notate Reese's Rescues). We also appreciate donations of old towels, blankets, pet beds, pet bowls, cat litter, pet toys, and other pet items that can be used to make our adoptable pets feel at home!
At times we can also use foster homes for puppies and kittens, which helps get them well-socialized. Contact us if you're interested in volunteering or being a foster home!
